Case: Sales Website for Lumina Trading — Wholesale & Private Label Candles, Dubai

Lumina Trading homepage: candles with your brand, made in Dubai, delivered across the GCC
Task

Lumina Trading hand-pours soy wax candles in Dubai and sells to large buyers only: retail chains, distributors, brands, hotel groups and companies with gift programmes. When we started, the business had a 22-page PDF catalogue, a WhatsApp number and a freshly bought domain. There was no website.

Our brief: turn the catalogue into a site that sells to B2B buyers across the UAE and the GCC. It had to answer price, minimum order and lead time before the first message, and hand the team a structured brief in WhatsApp instead of a vague "send me prices". It also had to be ready for search demand in English and in Arabic, where Saudi Arabia searches far more than the UAE.

What we built
  • A selling homepage built from the catalogue: offer, process, published prices and a live price estimator (300-unit minimum, volume discount of 5, 10 and 15% applied automatically).
  • 22 landing pages, 11 in English and 11 in Arabic (right-to-left): candle manufacturer, private label, corporate and VIP gifts, hotels and spas, gift companies, reed diffusers and five seasonal pages from Diwali to Ramadan. Each one is built around its own cluster of search queries.
  • An interactive 3D candle configurator (Three.js): jar finish, lid, branding and the buyer's own brand name on the label. It loads only when the visitor scrolls near it, so it costs the first screen nothing.
  • A fragrance picker with 150+ scents in six families; the chosen scents go straight into the quote request.
  • A quote form that qualifies: quantity in bands from 300 units, logo, handover date and fragrances, sent as a ready brief to WhatsApp or email. Smaller orders get the price list at once instead of taking a manager's time.
  • An order calendar for the gifting season that counts back from the handover date: when to brief for printed jars and when for sticker labels.
  • A mid-page call to action on every page and a sticky WhatsApp bar on phones; on mobile, tables turn into cards and the menu opens full screen with the contact buttons always in view.
  • Speed and search basics: a static site on Cloudflare Workers, self-hosted fonts, inlined CSS, hreflang for English and Arabic, Product, FAQ and breadcrumb markup, sitemap, IndexNow and GA4 events on every call to action and every lead.

Lumina Trading on phones: English homepage, Arabic homepage and the full-screen menu
Results:

The site went live on 28 September 2026. The 22 landing pages followed on 29 September: two days from the catalogue to a full English and Arabic site.

Google PageSpeed on mobile: 99 for the homepage and 95–100 for the landing pages, with 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO. Desktop scores 100.

Every route through the site ends in a brief the sales team can act on: quantity, jar size, logo, date and fragrances, in WhatsApp or by email.

We took the baseline at launch: enquiries, estimator use and search visibility in both languages. We will add those figures to this case as they come in, rather than promising them in advance.
