Privacy Policy
This page explains what data SkyLight Studio LLC collects through slmarketing.ae, why we collect it and who receives it. SkyLight Marketing is the marketing agency of SkyLight Studio LLC.
What we collect
From the request form. The name and phone number you type in, the page you sent the request from, and the technical details that come with any request: IP address, country and browser type. We use them to answer you and to tell real requests from spam.
When you write to us on WhatsApp. Your phone number, the profile name WhatsApp shows us and what you write. A WhatsApp chat opened from this site starts with a short reference code beginning with SL, so we can see which page or ad brought you to us.
Visit details. Our own script gives each visit an ID and records the page you landed on, the site you came from and the campaign tags in the link (utm, gclid, fbclid). The ID is kept in the sl_vid and sl_ad cookies. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, counts the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser.
Session recordings. Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used: mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and taps, which we see as heatmaps and replays of visits. It starts at your first interaction with the page or a few seconds after the page loads. Recordings are not linked to your name or phone number.
Why
To answer your request, scope the work and prepare a proposal. To see which pages and ads bring real enquiries and what our advertising costs us.
We do not sell your data, rent it out or hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
Who receives it
- SkyLight Studio LLC: our own team, which answers you and prepares the proposal.
- Cloudflare and Railway: hosting providers that store form requests and visit details on our behalf.
- Meta Platforms: when the conversation continues in WhatsApp, Meta processes the messages under its own terms; its servers are outside the UAE.
- Google: Analytics and Tag Manager, for visit statistics.
- Microsoft: Clarity, for session recordings and heatmaps.
How long we keep it
Requests and visit details: up to three years, so we can confirm the terms of past work. Statistics and session recordings: for the periods set in our Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity accounts. WhatsApp conversations stay in the messenger until they are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@slstudio.ae or message us on WhatsApp at +971 58 593 3177. We reply within thirty days. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that has already taken place.
Cookies
Our own cookies, sl_vid and sl_ad, hold the visit ID described above. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own (Clarity, for example, sets _clck and _clsk) to measure visits and advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
